100 years from today, what will people know about you? Glacier View’s High School Civics class in conjunction with the Community Council will be compiling and publishing a book on the extended Glacier View Community. The project will be undertaken with the plan of recording family histories plus some of the history of the Glenn Highway from the Chickaloon River Bridge to mile 145.
The Glacier View High School students saw the need for help and gladly pitched in. They helped Rex and Shirley Close, long standing community members, prepare their property to be sold. The students worked hard and accomplished more than Mr. Close had envisioned. When they saw an opportunity to help, they jumped in and gave it their all.

Spring Break for Mat-Su students and schools is March 13-17. If your child attends a non-traditional MSBSD school, please follow your school's calendar. Friday, March 10, is a work day for teachers (no school for students). This quarter ends March 9.

School Safety is a number one priority for the MSBSD. The School Board has goals that direct the work of the District.
