Students visit Alaska Career Information System (AKCIS) to explore, organize and set your goals with a portfolio and career plan.
The Alaska Career Information System (AKCIS) is a free resource available to Alaska residents. AKCIS allows you to create a personal account, a Portfolio, to save plans for your education and career. Housed inside this portable resource, you can use: career assessments to match your interests to a wide variety of occupations; the Career Plan to track your goals and plans; Checklists to monitor your progress on recommended activities; and Favorites to bookmark pages for further exploration. AKCIS is made possible through a partnership between the Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education (ACPE) and the Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development (DOLWD).
