Our 5th grade classes will be walking to Wasilla Middle School on April 26th from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. to take a tour and get acquainted with their new school next fall! It's an exciting time for these young pre-teens as they prepare to leave elementary school behind. Parents are also invited to attend WMS on April 27th at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria for a tour and orientation. Come join the fun and get excited about Wasilla Middle School!

Spring Break for Mat-Su students and schools is March 13-17. If your child attends a non-traditional MSBSD school, please follow your school's calendar. Friday, March 10, is a work day for teachers (no school for students). This quarter ends March 9.

Attendance Matters! - Did you know that regular attendance in elementary school sets up a good pattern for your child's entire school career? Show him/her that school comes first by trying to keep days off for illnesses and family emergencies. Also, schedule routine doctor and dentist appointments for afterschool or over school breaks.
