Enrollment for the School Year
The enrollment period for any school year begins the spring before beginning of school in August.  In this section, you will find information about American Charter’s enrollment process.
Current Students Returning
If you currently have students attending American Charter Academy, fill out the 'Intent to Return Form' and return it to the office prior to the posted deadline date.  Once your form has been data checked (attendance, homework, focus, course completion, etc.) for confirmation of being a good match, you will be notified and your spot will be protected for the following year.
 
Unfortunately, this isn't all that is required.  You still must log into iParent on the District's website (matsuk12.us) and register your student with the Mat-Su Borough School District with American Charter Academy as your school site once it is open for enrollments.
 
New to American Charter Academy Students
 
If your student is not currently enrolled in American Charter Academy, but you are interested for the upcoming school year, the perspective students and families fill out our school's Application Form. At that time the application process has begun. The process includes  attendance to the New Student Orientation followed by two levels of conferences.  If there are more students than there are spots available in any given segment, there will be a lottery held.

Once you have filled out the application, call 352-0150 to set up an appointment to complete the next step of the application process.  

Application Process -
1.  Application filled out and submitted - if applicable, go to step 2.
2.  Complete first conference - if applicable, a second conference needs to be scheduled.
3.  Complete second conference.
 
Conferences are scheduled based on availability of staff. 
 
Students and families are required to attend the spring orientation for enrollment the following school year.  The date and time of the orientation will be posted on our website in the spring.
